To Our Community and Supporters
First and foremost, all of us at Donna’s would like to say “THANK YOU” for the support and generosity that has been shown to us over the last couple of months. Everything from buying gift cards, to the extra gratuity for our team, to the faithful purchasing of our donuts - the support has been amazing! We also really appreciate the numerous notes of encouragement on social media and otherwise.
This generosity has enabled us to do several things during this difficult time. We added several new team members from the community. We partnered with some amazing folks to help get donuts to our frontline medical workers. And it has definitely helped us stay open to make the fresh donuts you’ve come to enjoy. In a time when we’re all dealing with so much, we can’t thank you enough for being there for us! Upon the recent announcement from Governor DeWine and Dr. Acton that patio and dine-in service will resume for restaurants in Ohio, we thought it was a good time to revisit our safety policies for Donna’s. We took time to reflect on the latest developments, recommendations from the state and leading health organizations, and the role our business plays in combating COVID-19 in our community. Our number one priority all along has been to protect the health and safety of the community we serve and our staff. With that in mind, we have decided to continue with our current safety measures to protect both our staff and customers. We feel that what we’ve had in place for a while now is in the best interest of keeping everyone as safe as possible at our business. The current measures in place that will continue are as follows: -All orders will need to be placed online (or over the phone) for pick-up OR online for delivery via Doordash or Postmates. Our register is closed and we will not accept payment in person. -We will continue our current hours of Tuesday-Sunday from 8am-5pm for the time being. -We will be asking that all customers and delivery drivers try to wait outside or in their vehicles until your order is ready to be picked-up. Our dining area remains closed and our restroom will remain employees only. -As of Tuesday, 5/12 anyone preparing, handling, or serving donuts will be wearing masks in addition to the food safe protocols already in place.
-We are NOT requiring customers to wear masks to come inside although we do encourage it. We will continue to closely monitor and follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to ensure that we are doing our part to keep our family and staff, customers, and community safe. We here at Donna's want to thank you for your continued support. Stay safe, stay healthy, and HAVE A DONUT! Traci & the Donna’s Team
